Welcome to the Leydon-Smith School of Theatre Dance website. I hope you find our website helpful and informative - hopefully it will inspire you to find out more about the classes we offer.  Our friendly dancing school was established in 1980 by myself - Katherine Leydon-Smith, FIDTA (Principal).  

The Leydon-Smith School of Theatre Dance follows the IDTA syllabus and offers a range of exciting and enjoyable classes to anyone from age 18 months to adult. Classes are held at Pontefract Squash and Leisure Club and include Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tiny Toes Baby Ballet, Streetdance, Cheerleading, Cabaret Classes, Contemporary Dance, Dancercise and also Zumba Fitness.  Please see 'Our Classes' for more information.
